Sunbelt Conference 2024

We look forward to welcoming you to the 44th Sunbelt, the first Scottish Sunbelt in Edinburgh. The conference will take place from 24th June to 30th June 2024. The theme of Sunbelt 2024 is “Networks and Resilience“; there will be a panel on this topic.
The conference will take place at Heriot-Watt University. Heriot-Watt University dates back to 1821, beginning as the world’s first mechanics institute in the heart of Edinburgh. More on the history of Heriot-Watt University can be found here. Heriot-Watt University is home to the Centre for Networks and Enterprise Excellence (CNEE), which has active projects on innovation, knowledge exchange, decarbonisation, and finance.
Heriot-Watt University is just six miles from Edinburgh city centre, where you can enjoy everything that the capital of Scotland has to offer. There are plenty of whisky experiences to enjoy within the city (along with distillery tours just outside of Edinburgh too). You will be able to sample a range of Scottish food, and even check out the best haggis in Edinburgh.
